Robertson Elementary is taking part in a district program called "Choose Kind". This program, based on the Bluebonnet Award nominated book Wonder, promotes kindness and respect for differences among people. As part of this program, Round Rock ISD, through the HEB Excellence in Education Award, has given copies of the book Wonder for our students to 'read it forward'. To 'read forward', students in grades 3rd-5th will have the opportunity to read the book, sign their name in the book and pass it along to another student to read, and the process continues until everyone has had a chance to read Wonder.

    1. That's a lot of exclamation points. Can you compare this book to another book you've read or to something in your life?

    1. Why do you think the author added funny parts? The book trailer makes it look like a very serious story.

  11. Hi Roadrunners! This is Mrs. Acevedo. I'm seeing quite a few positive comments about Wonder, but since I haven't had the chance to read it, I'm thinking that I'd like some more information that makes me want to read. Will I learn anything from the story, or is it just written to entertain me?
